First Time, First Drafts, and a Story That’s Wrecking Me (In the Best Way)

Okay—first time ever trying to have a blog, so… here goes nothing.

My current work-in-progress is something really special to me. It’s a spicy football romance meets faith-filled tearjerker, and it’s already wrecking me (in the best, most sacred kind of way).

It follows a plus-size female main character who’s deeply rooted in her faith—and fiercely protective of her heart. When she crosses paths with the college’s star wide receiver, a boy who’s lost both his faith and his way, everything changes.

It’s about grief. Shame. Longing. Sacredness. Desire. And the aching, beautiful tension of being seen by someone who doesn’t believe in much… until he starts believing in you.
